To share the joy, the company has organized an occasion titled ‘Maternity Care and Respect – Contribution to a Good Work Environment’ to rejoice International Women’s Day – 4 March 2022 at 4A Yarn Dyeing Ltd. in Savar – a business unit of Team Group.

At the event, a total of 140 maternity women from the six business units of Team Group were honored at this special Women’s Day event.
Abdullah Hil Rakib, Managing Director of Team Group and the Chief Guest of the program, delivered the welcome speech at the event on the importance of respecting and evaluating women in the workplace as well as in the family.
Deputy Managing Director Abdullah Hil Nakib; Dilruba Sharmin Khan, Director, Group HR, Team Group; Shampa Reza, actress & singer; Sumaiya Shimu, Actor, Founder & Chairman, Better Future for Women; Ishrat Zaman, Savar Upazila Women Affairs Officer; Khaleda Khanam, Dhamrai Upazila Women Affairs Officer; Shahnaj Parvin, Gynecologist, BEPZA hospital were also present at the program.

The program was organized to show respect to pregnant women and new mothers as well as to increase working women’s enthusiasm.
Abdullah Hil Rakib, said, “We are a team of 20000 workers. Besides creating a sustainable generation – I am thankful to you all for taking care of pregnant workers.”
“We should stand by women at all times for ensuring a discrimination-free and better future for the world. We also spread motivation regarding care and love towards pregnant women through this event.”
Team Group is a champion in facilitating its women workers in its all factories. The company regularly provides healthy food (two times a day), ensures a hygienic working environment, to easily identify the company provides a red scarf to each pregnant woman which is brilliant. They are also giving priority the women to come up in the top management.
Normally pregnant women rarely join after the maternity leave, but in Team Group, 86% of mothers join after the special leave which is a great thing to be proud of.
