Choosing the right one to track and visit is a key decision to make because of limited time we have in our hand.  We pick ten of them for you to put here every month. For upcoming months DTG and Garmentech are two striking events to be held in Dhaka.

Yarn & Fabrics Sourcing Fair

Key Attraction: Yarn Fabrics & Accessories Sourcing Fair is going to be a vibrant expo dealing with niche items. This outstanding garment and textile expo will be a 4 days event, which will be expecting a lot of exhibitors and visitors. The expo is an annual exhibition of Bangladesh. Yarn Fabrics & Accessories Sourcing Fair will be exhibiting trendy and modern fabric collections, by eminent national manufacturers. The Yarn fabrics will be literally aiming to invite, fabric manufacturers and distributors both national and international to come and showcase their all new red hot collections of trimmings and embellishments. AATCC International Conference

Key Attraction: The annual AATCC International Conference offers presentations, networking, and vendor exhibits covering the entire textile and materials supply chain. Founded as the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), the Association continues to evolve to meet the needs of those in the ever-changing textile and materials industries.

The education portion of the conference will feature three tracks reflecting the Association’s Interest Groups: Concept 2 Consumer® (C2C), Chemical Applications, and Materials. Sessions in the C2C track will focus on color & lighting, concept innovation, material development, and consumer product interests.  The Chemical Applications track will address sustainability in textiles, advances in wet processing and specialty materials and finishing, and also include the Herman and Myrtle Goldstein Student Paper Competition. Presentations in the Materials track will include protective textiles, sustainable materials, medical textiles, and innovative technologies. The conference is open to anyone who would like to attend.

Techtextil 2015

International Conference on Natural Fibres 2015

Key Attraction: The second International Conference on Natural Fibres ICNF2015 will feature Natural Fibrenamics Award 2015 – a showcase of the latest innovations in the field of natural fibres, both for the scientific and industrial communities.

Prof Juan Hinestroza, Cornell University, NY, is a key speaker, who will give a lecture about Teaching Cotton New Tricks via Manipulation of Nanoscale Phenomena. Prof Aart W. van Vuure, Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, will give a lecture about Natural bio-composites: research highlights on the performance of bamboo, flax and hemp fibres.

The DNFI (Discover Natural Fibers Initiative) will organise a special session inside ICNF2015 programme called Natural fibres today and tomorrow – the market situation. The programme will also include the Best Poster Award, in recognition of the most outstanding posters of the conference.

Yiwu Sourcing Fair 2015

Key Attraction: Organized by Minsk Expo, a leader in exhibition business in Belarus, with support from the Ministry of Trade of Belarus, BELLEGMASH 2015 would ideally help to promote local products, attract internal and foreign investments, and provide local market with high quality consumer goods. Geosynthetics 2015

Key Attraction: The theme of Geosynthetics 2015 is Advances and Innovation. The conference will feature four days of technical programming, including short courses, panel discussions and papers. For the first time ever, Geosynthetics will be co-locating with International Erosion Control Agency’s Environmental Connections 2015 conference. The conferences will feature a shared exhibit floor while maintaining separate technical programs.

The conference is complete with full educational components—featuring informative technical sessions and thought-provoking keynotes—and a lively show floor showcasing the newest developments in geosynthetic engineering, products, applications, and technologies.
