Merchandiser’s Association of Primeasia (MAP) organized a workshop and seminar at IQAC conference room of Primeasia University campus.
Around 300 members – who are working in different merchandising departments and Buyer Office- of Merchandising Association of Primeasia attended the seminar.
Distinguished guests including Prof. Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice-chancellor, Primeasia; Md. Rayhan Azad, Director of Trustee Board; A K M Ashraful Haque, Treasurer; Abul Kashem Molla, Registrar and teachers from Textile Engineering Department, Primeasia were present.
Shafiur Rahman, Country Manager of G-Star Raw Bangladesh, Mohammad Oyasi Uddin, HR Manager, PVH Bangladesh also attended there.
Sohidul Alam Managing Director of Bayrong Limited, the most senior member of MAP delivered the opening speech.
Maher Abdullah, CEO of Fakir Fashion Ltd and Senior Merchandising Manager of Adidas Bangladesh Office Rifat Haque did a Leadership Training on “How Bangladeshi Merchandiser can be more skillful and make themselves as per global standard”.
They also emphasized how we can reduce our dependency on foreign employees of this merchandising department of the Textile sector.
