Transformation in BD RMG industry for sustainable development

Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Pro VC, BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) and Textile Expert delivered a short Speech on 20 February at European Head Quarter, Brussels on ‘Transformation in Textile and RMG (ReadyMade Garments) industries for sustainable development in Bangladesh’.

He gave importance on steps taken by industrialists, academics, researchers, govt. of Bangladesh and other stakeholders.

He also pointed out the research outcomes from the SMART project of European Union carried out with Partnership with Nynerode business University where University of Oslo was the lead University and Prof. Beate Sjåfjell was its Group leader.

Setara Begum, Head, Dept. of Textile Engineering, BUFT was present there along with the representatives from Partner University from University of Oslo, Norway, Bristol, UK Nynerode business University, Netherlands, Ghana University.
