TTH 2017-18 moves forward with ‘Electrify in Revealing Your Excellence’ concept

Textile Talent Hunt (TTH), a platform for them who want to make change in their life and the society for the betterment and sustainability of the world, is moving forward by the concept ‘Electrify in Revealing Your Excellence’. In consequently, Bangladesh Textile Today organized TTH 2017-18 campus seminar titled “Electrify in Revealing Your Excellence” at Green University and Southeast University respectively on December 6 and 19 at university seminar hall.

Prof. Syed Fakhrul Hassan Murad, Chairman, Dept. of Textile Engineering, Southeast University (SEU) thanked Textile Today in his speech for arranging such an innovative and research oriented TTH seminar at Southeast University. He inspired all the students of Textile Engineering Department to participate TTH2017-18 competition.

“I think TTH is a platform that will help you to challenge others by developing personal skills and technical skills”, said Dr. Arun Kanti Guha, Associate Professor, Dept. of Textile Engineering of SEU. He advised all eligible students to join TTH2017-18 competition to enrich themselves in Research and development.

Dr. Jagannath Biswas, Associate Professor, Dept. of Textile Engineering, Green University said, “TTH which is very important for the textile students who want to improve their research work.” He also said that it would help the industry owners to improve more and more.

Mr. Palash Hossain, TTH  alumni and Managing Director of Power Play Communications shared his experience that how it helped him to reach his goal and in his current position. He said, “It is the best platform for textile students to present themselves in the industry.”

Tareq Amin, Editor and Publisher of Bangladesh Textile Today, delivered key note speech on ‘Electrify in Revealing Your Excellence’ where he discussed about the importance of different skills such as personal skills, interpretation skills and leadership skills. He emphasized on goal setting for the students to succeed in life.

He also drew attention to the importance of human capital transformation in parallel with technological transformation of the textile and apparel industry. He motivated the students to set vision by gathering knowledge.

He said, “If you can develop yourself to deliver something or make yourself ready to serve something, then you do not need to pursue job, rather job will pursue you.” He also added, “TTH is the platform that is building a generation which is innovative and research savvy people.”

After successful completion of five seasons of TTH , Bangladesh Textile Today has launched its 6th  Season of country’s first ever competition for textile, garments and  fashion designing students, TTH 2017-18 on 20 September 2017 at BUTEX Auditorium.

The organizer of TTH 2017-18 expected that this talent hunt competition would rise as a great force on the textile community. All senior teachers and top industry people appreciated this initiative. They think that this scheme can achieve milestone to make a knowledge based textile community.
