Vericast, new shopper sentiment, and insights from marketing solutions company reveal that US consumers expect value, also they want to spend more and plan to shop locally in-store this holiday season.

As per a recent survey by the company, holiday shopping is starting earlier this year due to shipping delays experienced with online shopping last year.
In which, 55% plan to shop in person, 60% prefer to shop at local neighborhood stores and 71% of consumers agree it is important to support local stores and restaurants.
On the other side, while 63% of consumers found the holiday season last year to be more stressful than previous years. But now 59% feel optimistic about the upcoming 2021 holiday season.
According to consumers, saving money on holiday purchases is a priority, especially when 30% of those expectations that they will spend more than last year. And planning to buy more gifts to make up for the 2020 holiday season.
Meanwhile, 78% of consumers increased their saving behaviors during the pandemic, and 84% plan to continue this trend over the next year.
Nowadays 50% of consumers are planning to use more coupons for holiday shopping as per the company.
