Industry 4.0 is characterized as ‘Cyber-Physical-Production Systems (CPPS) and it comprises smart machines, storage systems and production facilities capable of autonomously exchanging information, triggering actions and controlling each other independently minimizing human intervention as much as possible at production floor in all aspects of Manufacturing Execution System.
