Yellow, a Bangladesh-based fashion brand and clothing retailer owned by Beximco and BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) jointly organized ‘Fashion Fest 2019’ in BUFT permanent campus in Ashulia on 20 March.

The founder chairman of BUFT Muzaffar Uddin Siddique, Executive Director of Yellow Shehryar Burney and BUFT Vice-Chancellor Professor Ayub Nabi Khan were present at the event.
The event was divided into three segments- a workshop on fashion, creative design exhibition and fashion show. International designers of Yellow conducted the workshop on fashion for the current student of BUFT.
For creative design exhibition, 56 highly talented students displayed their creative designs and three top winners were awarded.
Yellow selected 25 models for ‘Yellow Fashion Show’ out of 130 applicants. These student models wore Yellow’s Baishakh collection 2019 and spring collection 2019. The multi-purpose room was fully packed with more than 300 students, faculty members and invited guests.
The purpose of this initiative by Yellow was to prepare the future leaders of the fashion industry and to engage them for a learning experience with the Yellow team.
