Z&Z Lingerie to invest in Chittagong Export Processing Zone

Z&Z Lingerie Limited – a concern of Ananta Group – a local apparel company, is going to set up a lingerie garments manufacturing factory in Chittagong Export Processing Zone with an investment of US$25 million.

Recently the company signed a deal with the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (Bepza) in Dhaka on.

Bepza Member (Investment Promotion) Md Mahmudul Hossain Khan and Z&Z Lingerie Managing Director Sharif Zahir signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

In the event Major General SM Salahuddin Islam, Executive Chairman, Bepza; Member (Engineering) Mohammad Faruque Alam and Member (Finance) Nafisa Banu were present among others.

Z&Z Lingerie will manufacture 43 million units annually of different kinds of lingerie like bra, panty, legging etc. and sportswear, the release reads, adding that M/s Z&Z Lingerie will create employment opportunity for 4736 Bangladeshi nationals.
